Beginning the procedure... · The object of this project is to design a method of installing the cannon on wood kit warships after the planking is complete and with the ability to have all cannon aiming in the same direction for a broadside. It avoids the cumbersome task of installing backing between bulkheads which leads to all sorts of problems. This demonstration will be using a mockup of a planked hull with the port opening already cut to size. In this case the port is 10 x 10 mm. This collection of parts indicates those that we will use from the kit and that one part that we create.
